The Starter that Moon chose, and the Starter that chose her. Her best friend, admittedly chosen due to Moon's familiarity with Meowth. They've been through everything together, and despite Incineroar's standoffish nature, he (almost) always listens to her orders.
Toucannon ♀ - Sesame

Her first ever caught pokémon, and also the first pokémon on her team who actually fainted. She took care of Sesame to the point of being a little overprotective afterwards to try avoiding having it happen again.
She only likes Moon touching and feeding her--everyone else gets deal with getting a burning beak clamped around their fingers.
Lycanroc (Midnight) ♂ - Hachi

A Rockruff caught rather late on Ten Carat Hill, named after the historic Growlithe, Hachiko. The cutesy name doesn't fit how he looks now that he's a Lycanroc, but he likes it and Moon likes it, so she's never bothered going to the Name Rater. He falls asleep on his feet often.
Mimikyu ♀ - Amaloli

Caught while Moon was hanging out in the Thrifty Megamart, she came right over to her and was caught within one throw of a Great Ball, no fight required. Seems she really wanted to travel with someone who smiled at her.
Contests and Accessories aren't really a thing in Alola, but she lets Amaloli pick out pins and sunglasses to wear if she wants, which is almost always.
Lunala - Nebbie

Given to Moon at the end of their adventure, since Lillie wasn't a Trainer yet and travelling with Moon could let them experience more. They're a Legendary but still quite young, so they're curious and can be a little childish in their exploration. That is, they don't escape their Luxury Ball nearly as often as Lillie's Bag, but they do just pop out sometimes.
They've got an incredible amount of power, and they can open wormholes to other dimensions. Usually it's only to one extremely close to the original--that is, Sun version.
Moon loves them dearly and took the fact she's going to be their new parent to heart, and she keeps them by her side as much as possible.
Silvally - Coffee

The Type: Null given to her by Gladion in Aether Paradise. Named on impulse, it seems to fit--after growing closer, they became much more enthusiastic and prone to playing with the rest of her Pokémon...to the point of driving them to exhaustion.
ＵＢ-０４ Ｂｌａｓｔｅｒ/Celesteela

The one Ultra Beast she ever uses to battle. She can almost understand and control this one, as long as she remains exceedingly polite in her orders.
Rotom/RotomDex

Naturally, her PokéDex partner. Given to her by Dr. Kukui, Rotom's her snarky database on Alola's Pokémon, always with her but not a battler.
